HTC Fuiava was born in American Samoa in 1942. He is one of the leading orators with the ‘Aunu‘u village council. He retired from the American Samoa Government, Department of Public Works after 30 years of service. He also served as a village mayor and Senator for the Saole district. He has been an active member of the Ekalesia Faapotopotoga Kerisiano (EFKAS) i Amerika Samoa (Congregational Christian Church of American Samoa) and strong supporter of the National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa.
